International relations

The activity and structure of the Landscape Observatory of Catalonia, based on a model of cooperation between administrations, universities, civil society, entities, and the private sector, has had a great impact around the world, and is a source of inspiration for other landscape observatories and similar initiatives that are being created and developed everywhere. For this reason, the Observatory has been called on several times to explain its operation and composition both in Spain, and in other countries of the world. The Observatory is also invited to participate in many initiatives and international meetings and spaces for discussion and dissemination to contribute its knowledge and experience in the landscape policies of Catalonia, and in this way continues to expand and consolidate the network of European and international contacts and relations, as reflected in the map.
